Daily Objective: LAFS.1112.RL.3.7: Students will learn how to interpret the actions in a drama.

Bell-Ringer: Write two sentences. Each should use one of the following words correctly.

  • Reprimand: a rebuke, especially an official one.
  • Providence: the protective care of God or of nature as a spiritual power.

Activity: 

  • Act 1 Storyboard – due at the end of class
  • Act 1 Quiz (the last 20 minutes of class)

Homework: 

  • Vocal Packet 1 – due Friday (tomorrow)
  • Act 2 Quiz – 9/26 (Monday)

  1. We will finish reading Act 1 of the Crucible. Afterward, you will make “Who Am I?” Posters in groups. Each group will get a character to illustrate and describe. Skim the exposition to find a description of your character. Try to finish this today in class.

Homework: Act 1 Vocab due Friday.
